A big, dramatic piece designed and hand-made by the artist, Jeanette M. Norman. Vertical and horizontal netting techniques with internal and external increases and decreases. Very firm thread tension. 7 1/2 inches across widest part of "wings".
Materials: Glass seed beads, glass and metal button, Power Pro beading thread (super-strong braided polyurethane thread).
This piece is as strong as it can possibly be, given that it is netted beadwork. It will last for generations if properly cared for. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
