Each of the adjustable satin cord pieces
are approximately 25" long at the longest. The slipknots are sewn in
such a way as to still allow adjustment, but prevent the knots from
unraveling, a common problem with this type of adjustable cord. The ends
are acrylic-coated to prevent fraying.
Just pulling both ends at the same time allows the cord to be shortened
quite a lot. It can be shortened even further to a choker length by
pulling one strand of the cord behind the neck while pulling the cord
tip forward. Pulling the knots backward from the center loosens it up
again when at choker length.
See the photo showing four pieces that are all the same length, but
adjusted in different ways: Full length, mid-length, short cord length,
and choker length.
These pieces are extremely light-weight, and shipping is cheap on them
because I can send them in small padded mailers.
Polymer Clay "A" Pendants on Cord
These are also hand-made by me. The "A" symbols in these pieces are
very uniform (unlike the cane-worked symbols in the amber beads), and
are on a cream-colored, jade green (looks like stone) or
glow-in-the-dark background that's about 1" across. They're also strung
on adjustable satin cord (25" long at longest).

Amber Polymer Clay "A" Beads on Cord
These are hand-made by me, Jeanette. No two will be identical, but
all have the atheist "A" symbol on both sides of a flattened round bead
that's about 1 1/2 cm (5/8") across. These beads are semi-translucent
and have color variations and inclusions that make them look like
they're made of pale amber. Each bead is strung on a brass headpin to
make a pendant, and strung on adjustable satin cord (25" long at
longest).

These pendants range from about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" across and are extremely
light-weight. They are strung on a 25" adjustable satin cord, like the ones
shown with the Out Campaign "A" pendants.
This symbol is the design of Max Lambert, who holds the copyright for it. He
says that, "The main thing I want to stress is that the "A" stands for "Atheist"
and the candle is throwing light into the dark corners of religious
superstition, ignorance and intolerance.
